Steel River Locomotion No.1 Gin 70cl
Locomotion No.1 Gin is their tribute to the outstanding feat of North Eastern engineering that was the LOCOMOTION No.1 Steam Engine Train. It became the first steam locomotive to haul a passenger-carrying train on a public railway, the Stockton and Darlington railway. In September 1825. Public transport would never be the same again.
This is a North Eastern Dry Gin. Strong, no messing about, but very tasty.
A good juniper start, with soft sweet berry and citrus notes aromas. In the mouth, it is a really nice easy drinking dry style gin. Not over the top juniper laden. Hints of earthy calamus root and spicy notes of pink peppercorns are balanced with sweeter notes of cranberries and goji berries, that give way to a bittersweet grapefruit and juniper finish.
