After three years of carefully ageing our rum in Pedro Ximenez (PX) casks we are delighted to launch our OroRum Gold.
Taking our internationally award-winning vapour infused white rum, we have carefully blended this with our own PX rum and a beautiful Guyanese Rum from the banks of the Demerara River.
The Team at Oro have worked tirelessly, thankfully with numerous tastings, to create this rich and delightful rum. A wonderfully balanced rum with a depth of flavour.
An incredibly smooth golden rum full of multiple layers of cocoa, chocolate and hints of orange and butterscotch.
On the nose – butterscotch and vanilla caress the senses moving towards treacle. On the palate a classical and complex rum with rich butterscotch flavour and depth from the Guyanese cask aged rum. A subtle note of banoffee follows and finishes with a delicate chocolate finish.
Best served over ice or with ginger ale and a squeeze of lime – The Oro zesty mule.
