Originally placed into American Oak, ex-Bourbon casks this Rum remained in the Dominican Republic tropically ageing in the warm humidity of the Caribbean for eight years before being shipped to the cooler climate of the UK where it was re-casked into an ex-Rum cask for further maturation before being bottled by House of Rum in 2023.
