Glenfiddich Malt Masters Edition 02/14 70cl
In 1886, William Grant fulfilled a lifelong ambition by building his own distillery. He named it Glenfiddich, Gaelic for Valley of the Deer and on Christmas Day 1887, the first drop flowed from the stills.
After maturing in traditional oak casks for a number of years, the Malt Master transfers the whisky into sherry casks for its final years of maturation. Maturing in two different woods delivers a rich whisky - spicy and tempting flavours of plum and cherry with hints of wedding cake.
Each batch is hand-selected delivering a unique and subtle difference. This is batch #02/14 which was bottled at 43% ABV.
