Edgerton Original Pink Gin 70cl
The brain child of Martin Edgerton Gill, who had previously owned the London Gin Company, pink gin takes its inspiration from the cocktail, which became a Naval favourite in the 19th century. Gill’s father had spent five years in the Royal Navy, and had developed a love of the drink.
The gin is made with juniper, orris, grains of paradise, sweet orange peel, summer savory, damiana, cassia, nutmeg, coriander seeds, liquorice root, almond, cinnamon, lemon peel, angelica and pomegranate – an extract of which gives the spirit its wonderful blush.
The result is a lovely, sweet and fruity gin, balanced nicely by dry juniper, and rich, toasty spices, with a slightly herbaceous edge.
