The whiskies produced here are subject to intense heat during the maturation due to the tropical climate of the region, which means that the whiskies reach maturity three-to-four times faster than in Scotland however the angel’s share can be as high as 15%. Amrut Single Malt is a rich and complex whisky with notes of dark chocolate, malt milkshake, tropical fruits and baking spices. It’s ideal neat or mixed in cocktails like the Manhattan or whisky sour.
